Qualifications

  • Experience in safety and working with at-risk adults is preferred.
  • Must acquire Fire Safety and CPR/First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Provide shift coverage and be on call during nights and weekends.
  • Implement preventive measures and prepare incident reports.
  • Conduct building inspections and monitor operations for safety.

  • Provide for shift coverage and be on call nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be flexible and accept changes to assignment/schedule.
  • Implement preventive measures through crisis intervention and conflict resolution modalities.
  • Implement proper recording and reporting systems for consumer and staff safety.
  • Prepare incident reports.
  • Conduct curfew checks.
  • Conduct building inspections and rounds.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Commitment to empowering others to solve their own problems.

  • The ability to establish a respectful relationship with persons served to help them gain skills and confidence.

  • Employee must be able to work effectively and efficiently within a highly volatile and demanding work environment.
  • Employee will be responsible to work various shifts and maintain emergency coverage where necessary. Must perform the day-to-day tasks and duties relative to safety; monitor operations and ensure appropriate follow-up.
