The Security Sales Consultant role focuses on network locking systems and access control solutions. Responsibilities include calling on new and existing customers such as builders, contractors, business owners, IT managers, facility managers, architects, and engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Makes cold calls and visits to customers
  • Prepares presentations, proposals, and sales contracts
  • Negotiates prices and secures projects; reviews contracts for accuracy
  • Oversees project estimating, vendor quotes, and pricing
  • Manages ordering, sourcing, and scheduling of materials
  • Ensures timely installation and billing; communicates with contractors and resolves issues
  • Conducts educational sessions on products and industry trends
  • Visits contractors and customers based on account priority
  • Maximizes sales profitability and growth within assigned markets
  • Assesses client needs and recommends suitable products/services
  • Builds and maintains business relationships
  • Engages with industry associations like ASIS, BOMA
  • Maintains bid logs and sales pipeline
  • Coordinates project meetings and provides excellent customer service

Qualifications

2-3 years of relevant experience; university degree or college diploma preferred; ongoing professional development encouraged.
