We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Security Administrative Assistant.
- This role offers the opportunity to work within a security-focused environment, supporting access control, managing sensitive data, and assisting with various security-related administrative tasks.
This is a 3-month contract with potential for an extension.
Responsibilities
- Issue security access cards and manage updates to the user database with precision.
- Maintain and update security systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and review security-related reports, including access control and security logs.
- Coordinate and track submissions from security contractors.
- Assist with the scheduling and planning of security-related tasks.
- Address inquiries related to access control and security systems promptly.
- Ensure data integrity when processing security-related information.
Qualifications
- Three years of office-based administrative experience, preferably in a security operations environment.
- An Office Administration certificate or related post-secondary credential is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- A strong attention to detail, accuracy, and understanding of security protocols is essential.
- The ability to quickly learn new software and security systems, with training provided, is necessary.
- Strong communication and customer service skills are a must.
- Experience in a security or facilities management setting is an advantage.
Work Environment : This is a fully on-site role at our Whitby, ON office.
Contract Details : Three months with potential for an extension.
