GardaWorld, a global leader in security, is seeking a Concierge Security Guard for temporary coverage at our Fulfillment Centre in Hamilton, Ontario. The role emphasizes customer service, access control, and regular patrols to prevent theft.

Schedule options include 08:00-16:00, 16:00-00:00 and 00:00-08:00, with hourly pay of $20 plus benefits. GardaWorld offers training through GardaWorld Academy, flexible shifts, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license
• First aid certification required
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills

Responsibilities

• Customer service duties like welcome, verify identity, and guide visitors
• Manage access control
• Perform regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Constant Vehicle Patrols to look for unusual activity preventing theft
• Be alert and aware at all times
• Inspect security equipment and report any maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns

Schedule: Monday -Friday 08:00- 16:00 , Monday to Friday 16:00-00:00 & Monday to Friday 00:00-08:00
