Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a friendly Concierge Security Guard in Hamilton, Ontario. You will engage with visitors, manage access, perform patrols, monitor CCTV, and respond to emergencies while delivering top-notch customer service on shift.

This full-time/part-time role offers an hourly wage of $19, with uniform provided, ongoing GardaWorld Academy training, and flexible schedules. A strong service mindset and valid security license are essential.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proficient with basic phone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify identification, and provide customer service and directions.
• Manage access control for employees, visitors, and contractors.
• Conduct regular foot patrols and identify security or safety risks.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and other security systems.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and medical situations.
• Provide First Aid/CPR and coordinate with emergency services when required.
• Assist with evacuations, fire drills, and emergency procedures.
• Perform computer and administrative tasks.
• Answer questions and assist visitors by phone or in person.
• Prepare accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Communicate security concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain key control and secure restricted areas.
• Ensure compliance with company security, health, and safety procedures.

As a Concierge Security Guard, there is a high focus on customer service since you will be working with people all shift, in environments such as office towers, hotels, shopping centers, etc.

Schedule: Saturday to Sunday (12:00-00:00)

Location: L8L 8K5
