Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Security Guard for an overnight shift at a post-secondary campus in Toronto, ON. The role focuses on engaging with students, professors, and visitors, ensuring access control and safety on campus.

Responsibilities include welcoming visitors, monitoring access, and documenting incidents. The ideal candidate has a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid & CPR Level C, and at least 1 year in customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Must hold a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid WSIB Approved First Aid & CPR Level C Certification.
• Proficient in basic phone & computer skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service or concierge role.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify ID, and provide directions
• Control building access
• Conduct foot patrols to identify risks
• Check security equipment and report issues
• Complete computer-based monitoring and reports
• Respond to incidents and provide first aid
• Write incident reports and communicate concerns
• Answer questions in person and by phone
