Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Professional for two sites in Hamilton, ON. The role involves patrolling, incident logging, and coordinating with management and contractors to maintain a safe environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid Ontario Security License, be 18+, and able to work full-time hours including evenings. The position requires standing/walking for long periods and a commitment to training and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic computer skills and wireless technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
• Valid First Aid and CPR.
• Driver's Licence is an asset.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the designated area to monitor and ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Maintain detailed records of patrols, documenting incidents, irregularities, and any equipment malfunctions.
• Communicate effectively with residents, property management, contractors, and other property staff.
• Maintain a professional attitude towards training and security protocols, including emergency response and communications.
• Address and resolve complaints, ensuring total client satisfaction.
• Support property management with any additional tasks as required.

Position: Security Guard - Public Library

Location: Hamilton, ON

Payrate: $20.10 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Shift:Monday to Thursday 1945-0015 | Evenings to Nights

and Central Public Library - Saturday 1600 - 0000hrs and Sunday 1145 - 1715 | Day shifts

Overview:

Allied Universal is seeking an experienced Security Professional to oversee two of our sites in Hamilton. The ideal candidate is a seasoned individual with excellent communication skills, and able to work with a dynamic security team. If you have Security experience, enjoy patrolling, and can maintain a high level of professionalism, we'd like to hear from you.
