Allied Universal is seeking a Security Supervisor - Mobile in Hamilton, ON. The role focuses on mobile patrols, access control, and incident response to safeguard facilities and personnel. Must hold a Canada-wide suitability and a valid Ontario security license with First Aid/CPR.

The position operates on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 16:00–01:00, offering full-time hours and a pay rate of CAD 19.50 per hour. Training and career growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must provide a clear driver’s abstract and Ontario Full G license.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring.
• High school diploma or equivalent/ GED.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized activity and protect personnel.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms and respond to breaches or disturbances.
• Perform security checks of buildings and entry points to ensure compliance.
• Interact with clients, visitors and employees, providing directions and information.
• Report incidents, accidents or hazards to supervisors with observations and actions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and security personnel during incidents.
• Maintain logs of patrols and incidents, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Inspect security equipment and vehicles and report deficiencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and improvements.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance procedures and response protocols.

Position Title: Security Supervisor - Mobile

Position Location: Hamilton, ON

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Shift: Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays | 1600-0100 ; Evening to Morning Shifts

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring a Shift Supervisor (Mobile position) in Hamilton, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in mobile security.

Requirements:

• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to provide a clear driver's abstract and ON Full G license.
• Must be at least 25 years old for insurance purposes.
• Valid ON Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificate is a must
• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
