Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Hamilton, Ontario. The role involves manning access control, monitoring CCTV, and maintaining a professional customer-facing presence on site.

Responsibilities include patrolling, enforcing post orders, documenting incidents, and responding to emergencies with proper safety procedures. A valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR Level C, and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Minimum 1 year of patrolling experience.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ontario security guard license.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents.
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Shifts: Casual: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, Sun | Various hours | The selected candidate must have a wide availability
