The position requires an Ontario security guard license, 18+ years of age, and a valid First Aid/CPR certification. Full-time night shifts run 2300–0700 from Monday to Friday, with weekend options as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following post orders, indoor or outdoor patrols as applicable.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures during alarms or emergencies.
• Operate security room equipment including CCTV and radios.
• Conduct in-car/vehicle patrols.

Job Title : Security Guard - Overnights

Job Location : Milton , ON

Pay Rate : $18.29 per hour

Shifts : Full Time : Monday to Friday 2300-0700

Part Time : Saturday Sunday 1900-0700

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .


• Experience with report writing and note-taking.


• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.


• Valid Ontario security guard license


• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.


• First Aid and CPR - Level C


• Must be at least 18 years old.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

• Access control for the facility/area


• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times


• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate


• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.


• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies


• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager


• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents


• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.


• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
