Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Milton, Ontario. Job Title: Security Guard - Overnights. Pay Rate: $18.29 per hour.

Shifts: Full Time 2300-0700; Part Time 1900-0700. Requirements include Ontario security guard license, 18+, High school diploma or GED, First Aid and CPR Level C, and eligibility to work up to 40 hours per week. Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and report writing.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid Ontario security guard license.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
