Job summary

Allied Universal in Milton, Ontario is seeking an Overnight Security Guard to guard facilities, monitor CCTV, and manage access control. The role requires a valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR Level C, and the ability to work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following post orders and protocols.
• Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to alarms and emergencies.
• Undertake site-specific training and follow supervisor directions.
• Demonstrate good judgement and decision-making in emergencies.
• Meticulous record keeping and report writing; strong verbal/written skills.
• Operate security room equipment including CCTV, radios, and computers.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols.

Job Title: Security Guard - Overnights

Job Location: Milton , ON

Pay Rate: $18.29 per hour

Shifts: Full Time : Monday to Friday 2300-0700

Part Time : Saturday Sunday 1900-0700

Requirement:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Ontario security guard license
• Must be eligible to work in Canada upto 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions:

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
