Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a Security Guard for an Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 site in Richmond. You will secure the property, deliver customer service, and act as a first responder when needed.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm. Payrate: $26.50/hour. Requirements include BC Security License, OFA2, and 5+ years in Canada for clearance. On-site role with CCTV and access control duties.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Security License.
• Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 certification required.
• Must have resided in Canada for 5+ years for clearance.
• Experience with CCTV and access control systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring a positive experience.
• Provide access control and issue passes as required.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property and grounds, on foot.
• Monitor and safeguard people, property, buildings, and equipment.
• Actively monitor CCTV systems to detect and respond to security threats.
• Serve as a first responder in emergencies, providing immediate First Aid to employees.
• Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate parties.
• Report incidents to the Site Lead and submit detailed investigation reports.
