Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard to safeguard facilities across various locations in Canada. You will read environments, anticipate risks, and act accordingly while patrolling retail stores, airports, and security centers.

Responsibilities include access control, site security, responding to incidents, and reporting. The role encompasses full-time or part-time shifts with uniform provided and ongoing GardaWorld Academy education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Manage visitor access, identification, passes, and key control.
• Secure restricted areas and prevent unauthorized entry.
• Conduct regular interior, exterior, and parking lot patrols.
• Monitor CCTV, intrusion alarms, and fire systems.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and medical emergencies.
• Assist with evacuations, fire drills, and safety procedures.
• Identify and report hazards and security concerns.
• Complete accurate daily and incident reports.
• Assist with investigations involving theft, damage, or other incidents.
• Enforce site security, health, and safety policies.

Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule: Monday 09:00-19:00 & Friday 07:00-17:00

Location: L8P 1H4
