Allied Universal in Toronto, ON, is seeking a Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Guard to support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility. The role focuses on controlling access at the main gate, ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries enter the site.

The position requires monitoring, incident reporting, and emergency response, with overnight shifts from 00:00 to 08:00 and a pay rate of $19.15 per hour.

Qualifications

• Gatehouse operations experience required.
• Ontario Security License must be valid.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Computer literacy required.
• Available to work holidays.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: Perform regular patrols and monitor entry points.
• Visibility & Coverage: Maintain high visibility at designated posts.
• Access Control: Verify IDs, log visitors, lock gates/doors.
• Communication: Radio communication with security team; report incidents.
• Emergency Response: Respond to emergencies and contact emergency services.
• Incident Documentation: Keep logs; prepare shift handover notes.
• Site & Asset Protection: Prevent theft and protect assets.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: Use PPE and follow safety policies.
• General Security Duties: Address security risks during shift.

Shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednes, Thursday, Friday | Overnight Shift | 00:00 - 08:00

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Guardto support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for controlling access at the site’s main gate, ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries enter the facility.

The Security Guard plays a critical role in protecting company assets, maintaining site safety, and supporting compliance within an active industrial environment operating 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Site Surveillance & Patrol:Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage:Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control:Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication:Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response:Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation:Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection:Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures:Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties:Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years Gatehouse Operations Experience
• Must have a validOntario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above
• Must have great written and Oral communication skills
• Must have great Knowledge of using computer,
• Must be willing to work if needed on holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to40 hours a week.
• First Aid and CPR
