Allied Universal in Toronto, ON is seeking a Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Guard to protect a manufacturing and warehousing site. The role includes access control at the main gate, patrolling, and ensuring only authorized personnel and deliveries enter.

The position runs overnight shifts from 00:00 to 08:00, five days a week, with a pay rate of $19.15 per hour. The job emphasizes safety, incident reporting, and abiding by site policies, PPE, and security procedures.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years gatehouse operations experience.
• Ontario Security License required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard software.
• Willingness to work holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance & Patrol: regular site patrols and monitor entry points.
• Visibility & Coverage: maintain high post visibility near sensitive areas.
• Access Control: verify IDs, log visitors, keep gates doors secured.
• Communication: radio coordination with security team; report incidents promptly.
• Emergency Response: respond to emergencies; contact services as needed.
• Incident Documentation: log activities and prepare handover notes.
• Site & Asset Protection: prevent theft and vandalism; secure property.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures: enforce PPE use and safety rules.
• General security duties to maintain overall safety.

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Security Professional – Fulltime Warehouse Guardto support security operations at a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Toronto, ON. This position is responsible for controlling access at the site’s main gate, ensuring only authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries enter the facility.

The Security Guard plays a critical role in protecting company assets, maintaining site safety, and supporting compliance within an active industrial environment operating 24/7.

Responsibilities:

• Site Surveillance & Patrol:Perform regular patrols of the site and surrounding areas to ensure the security of the premises. Monitor all entry points for unauthorized access.
• Visibility & Coverage:Maintain high visibility at the designated posts. Ensure security coverage near sensitive areas within the site.
• Access Control:Enforce site access protocols by verifying the identification of authorized personnel, logging visitor entry and exit, and ensuring that gates and doors remain securely locked when not in use.
• Communication:Maintain clear and constant communication via radio with other security personnel. Report incidents, unusual activities, or security concerns promptly.
• Emergency Response:Respond quickly and appropriately to any emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, or security breaches. Contact emergency services and assist as necessary.
• Incident Documentation:Maintain accurate logs of all security activities, incidents, and patrols. Complete shift reports and provide detailed handover notes for the next shift.
• Site & Asset Protection:Prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access to site materials and equipment. Ensure all property is secured at all times.
• Compliance with Safety Procedures:Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on-site, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• General Security Duties:Ensure the overall safety and security of the site and surrounding areas by addressing any security risks or safety concerns that arise during the shift.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years Gatehouse Operations Experience
• Must have a validOntario Security License.
• Must be at least 18 years old or above
• Must have great written and Oral communication skills
• Must have great Knowledge of using computer,
• Must be willing to work if needed on holidays
• High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Canada up to40 hours a week.
