Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Guards in Milton, Ontario for full‑time positions. Pay rate is $19.33 per hour with shifts including Sunday 07:00–15:00 and Mon/Tue 12:30–00:00.

Applicants must hold an Ontario security guard license, be at least 18, and be able to work up to 40 hours per week. A High School diploma or GED is required, plus First Aid/CPR Level C.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Ontario security guard license valid.
• Eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR - Level C.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling per post orders (indoor/outdoor)
• Follow safety and emergency procedures
• Site training and guidance from Supervisor/Manager
• Demonstrate judgment in emergencies or incidents
• Meticulous record keeping and report writing
• Operate security room equipment (CCTV, radios)
• In-car/vehicle patrols

Sunday 0700 - 1500hrs, Monday and Tuesday 1230 - 0000hrs

Requirement

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions

• Access control for the facility/area
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols, etc.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
