Allied Universal in Milton, Ontario is seeking a Professional Security Guard for a full-time daytime shift. The role requires strong access control, CCTV monitoring, and clear report writing to maintain safety and order at the facility.

Qualifications include a valid Ontario security guard license, First Aid/CPR, and the ability to work up to 40 hours weekly. The position offers benefits and opportunities for advancement within a large national security provider.

Responsabilidades

• Access control for the facility/area.
• Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times.
• Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate.
• Patrolling and following protocols as per the post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols.
• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager.
• Demonstrate good judgment and decision-making ability, particularly in emergencies.
• Meticulous record keeping and report writing with good verbal and written communication.
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including cameras, radios, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols

Shifts

Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu and Fri | Monday to Thursday 0700 - 1500hrs and Friday 0700 - 1815hrs.

• Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies
• Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager
• Demonstrate goodjudgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents
• Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Operate/monitor security room equipment including but not limited to computers, CCTV cameras, radio, etc.
• Perform in-car/vehicle patrols
