Paladin Security is seeking high-caliber Critical Response Team Security Guards to safeguard communities, property, and assets in fast-paced, challenging environments. This casual part-time role offers day shifts or short shifts and may require travel to nearby cities for assignments.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License.
• Must be willing to travel within 1 hr of Terrace.
• BC Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• First Aid Training (Basic/Intermediate/Advanced).
• Minimum 1 year of security experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.

Responsibilities

• Travel to surrounding cities up to 2–4 hours away.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and critical situations.
• Access control and alarm response.
• Provide tactical support to frontline security teams.
• Conduct high-visibility patrols and deter threats.
• Safeguard high-value assets and sensitive environments.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Maintain detailed incident reporting and situational awareness.

Be part of an elite, specialized security team! We are seeking high-caliber Critical Response Team Security Guards who thrive under pressure and excel in fast-paced, challenging environments. This role requires exceptional decision-making skills, advanced training, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving scenarios. As a member of our Critical Response Team, you will be ready to take on short notice shifts and travel to nearby cities to safeguard the community, property, and assets in situations that demand the highest level of preparedness and professionalism.

We are seeking candidates for casual part-time work, with availability to work either days (ex. 8am-5pm), or short shifts (ex. 5:30am-9:30am, or 1:30pm-5:30pm), all days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Willingness to travel surrounding cities up to 2 to 4 hours away
• Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies, incidents, and critical situations
• Access control and alarm response
• Provide tactical support and reinforcement to frontline security teams
• Conduct high-visibility patrols and proactive threat deterrence
• Safeguard high-value assets and sensitive environments
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required
• Maintain detailed incident reporting and situational awareness

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security License
• Must be willing to travel within 1-hr of Terrace.
• BC Class 5 driver’s license and a reliable vehicle to serve as a shelter
• Advanced security or tactical training (use of force, crisis intervention, defensive tactics, etc.) are preferred, but not required
• Must have either Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced First Aid Training
• Minimum 1 year of experience in security preferred (Industrial/Healthcare/Campus)
• Physical ability to respond to demanding situations
• Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
• Flexibility for various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada
