Job summary

Commissionaires BC is seeking a security professional to work full time at a hotel in New Westminster. Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 2300 - 0700 plus Monday - Wednesday 2230 - 0630. Wage: $23.00/hour.

Responsibilities include exterior/interior patrols, alarm response, access control, CCTV monitoring, reporting incidents, and maintaining a safe environment for all personnel and the public. Must have BC Security License and fluent English.

Qualifications

• BC Security License required.
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to the client and site users.
• Perform regular exterior and interior patrols, including door lockups.
• Equipment alarm response and monitoring.
• Provide access control as per site regulations, including issuing of access cards.
• CCTV monitoring.
• Site removal of unauthorized individuals.
• Investigate security incidents, escalating as necessary.
• Maintains a safe environment for all personnel and the public.
• Report all incidences to the Client Services Manager and provide investigation report(s).
