Job summary

Commissionaires BC in Kelowna is seeking security guards for an RCMP Call Centre/document centre site. Full time and part time shifts are available, including evenings and overnights. The wage is $22.97 per hour.

Responsibilities include front desk security, escorting visitors, patrolling, and handling general admin tasks; strong English and customer service are essential. Position requires RCMP clearance and a valid BC Security License.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid BC Security License.
• First Aid (OFA 1) certificate is required.
• Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills are expected.
• Have resided in Canada for 5+ years and be a resident or permanent resident for clearance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Static front desk security and access control.
• Escort site visitors.
• Perform regular exterior and interior building patrols.
• General administrative duties.
• Report incidents to Site Supervisor and prepare investigation reports.
