Paladin Security is seeking professional Part time/Casual Security Guards to maintain safe and secure environments for clients, employees, and the public. You will respond effectively to varied situations and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid BC Security Licence.
• Valid Basic First Aid is an asset.
• BC Class 5 driver's license.
• Reliable transportation (site-dependent).
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Ability to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays).
• Previous security or customer service experience.
• Experience with patrols, access control, and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance and sustain effective relationships with clients and patrons.
• Conduct proactive patrols to ensure safety and address policy breaches, and note any concerns.
• Attend and investigate security alarms and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
• De-escalate crisis situations, provide support and liaise with emergency personnel including police, fire and paramedic resources.
• Exercise crowd control and evict trespassers.
• Write clear and detailed reports including incident, emergency, liability and day to day reports.
• Provide first aid and medical response when required to any person(s).
