MSS Security is seeking a Casual Control Room Operator to join our team at a corporate/data centre site located in Burwood East. The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience working within a control room environment, including monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, managing access control, responding to incidents, and maintaining accurate and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room environment including monitoring CCTV and alarm systems.
• Hold a Victorian Security Licence with Control Room Endorsement.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Ability to work a 24/7 rotational roster.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a control room operator role (preferred).
• Master Licence Number: 409-987-30S.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems to ensure site safety and security.
• Coordinate day-to-day security operations within the control room environment.
• Manage access control, including staff, contractor, and visitor entry.
• Respond to and document incidents accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support emergency response procedures as required, including escalation and coordination.

Requirements
