Job summary

CAE is seeking an IT Systems & Security Administrator to join its on-site team at RAAF Base Amberley. In this role, you will administer IT systems, manage patching and user accounts, and work with security leaders to strengthen the organisation's security posture.

You will report incidents, conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies while identifying emerging cyber security risks and implementing appropriate safeguards. Australian citizenship and security clearance are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in cyber security, information technology or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong experience as an IT Systems & Security Administrator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Ability to work on-site at RAAF Base Amberley 5 days a week.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance, ideally already holding one - must be an Australian Citizen.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Ideally have experience within the Defence industry
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware, network devices and protocols
  • Familiarity with Australian Information Security Manual (ISM), Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
