Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an organised Operations Control Room Officer to monitor security operations, coordinate responses, and keep clear communication with field teams and clients. Duties include logging incidents and providing updates to clients while ensuring compliance with procedures.

The role requires a valid SIA Licence, strong communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure across day and night shifts in a control room environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a control room or operations environment (preferred).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and security software.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including days and nights.
• A valid SIA Licence (Essential).
• Knowledge of Glasgow and surrounding areas (Preferred).

• Log incidents, activities, and shift updates accurately in the control room systems.
• Ensure compliance with operational protocols and procedures.
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding site activities and incidents.
• Act as the central point of contact for all security operations during your shift.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a control room or operations environment (Preferred).
