Job description

Position Overview

The incumbent provides receptionist and clerical support for personnel in Security Services. Duties include data entry functions as required by the department and responsibility for the Photo Identification (ID) and access systems for the HSC Security Services Department.

Experience
  • One year previous related experience required, preferably at the Health Sciences Centre.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
  • Complete high school education, Manitoba standards, required.
  • Successful completion of a recognized secretarial training program required.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Typing 50 wpm required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) required; knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint preferred.
  • Knowledge of HSC Payroll Coding and Data Entry systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Incident Reporting and Information Management System (Perspective) preferred.
  • Excellent command of English (oral and written) required.
  • Discretion when handling confidential matters is essential.
  • Preference given to applicants proficient in an Indigenous language and/or knowledgeable about Indigenous customs, traditions, and values.
