Job summary

Indigo is seeking a 2026 Seasonal Customer Experience Representative to support daily store operations in Ottawa. The role is part-time with a seasonal contract, requiring flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Candidates should be comfortable lifting items up to 40 pounds, delivering welcoming service, and telling the stories behind our products. Bilingual French/English is required in Québec contexts and may be an asset elsewhere.

Qualifications

• Part-time seasonal retail role in Indigo stores.
• Bilingualism (French/English) preferred in Québec; other languages an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with proper technique.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, overnights and early mornings if required.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operations of the store before or after the store closes (5 AM to 10 PM start time).
• Conduct inventory cycle counts, replenish stock, manage product returns, shelve products, and process incoming store merchandise.
• Use merchandising standards to create a visually appealing, stimulating store.
• Create a warm and welcoming environment for customers.
• Engage with customers on the floor and tell product stories.
• Curate product collections for customers met.
• Care for health and safety as a top priority in the store.
• Respond to customer feedback in a timely manner.
• Share ideas with Leadership Team to improve customer experience.
