Michaels is hiring for a Retail Seasonal PT Customer Service Team Member in Hamilton, Ontario. You will deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers find products, and ensure a fast checkout while supporting store operations.

The role involves standing for long periods, lifting, and assisting with truck unloads and merchandise recovery. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with a positive attitude and teamwork mindset.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Stand for long periods and lift/move items in a store environment.
• Able to work nights, weekends and mornings as needed.

Responsabilités

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast, friendly checkout with accurate cash handling.
• Promote Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards; enroll customers.
• Educate customers on Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes (BOPIS, SFS).
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain merchandise recovery and in-stock standards; support store recovery.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and company policies.
• Interact positively with customers and promote the brand image.
• Cross-trained in Custom Framing selling and production.
