Job summary

Roots in Calgary, a proudly Canadian lifestyle brand, is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain store standards, and help customers find the right gear for everyday adventures.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will perform POS transactions, merchandise presentation, stock replenishment, and uphold loss-prevention guidelines while contributing to a welcoming, inclusive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in apparel preferred.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers.
• Cash handling and merchandising knowledge.
• Self-starter with good judgment.
• Strong presentation in a retail environment.
• Upbeat, optimistic and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to understand customer needs.
• Ability to gain buy-in to ideas, decisions, or products.

Responsibilities

• Display a customer-first attitude to build loyalty.
• Resolve customer issues at store level promptly and positively.
• Be a team player contributing to store success.
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks.
• Receive shipments, replenish stock and maintain displays.
