Job summary

Eataly Sherway Gardens is seeking a Seasonal Restaurant Table Support (Part-Time) to enhance the dining experience with timely meal delivery and table upkeep. This role reports to Floor Managers and the GM of Restaurants and supports servers as needed.

Requirements include Smart Serve, a flexible schedule including evenings and holidays, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. CAD 17.95/hour plus tips is offered for this seasonal position in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Must hold a valid Smart Serve certification.
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stay mobile for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, pour beverages, serve bread and olive oil.
• Run food from kitchen to tables, ensuring correct courses.
• Transport beverages from bar to tables and keep water glasses filled.
• Clear dishes and reset tables between courses.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and chairs in the service area.
• Assist servers and understand menu descriptions and ingredients.
• Perform other duties as required.

This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of 1/03/2027.

A Table Support Team Member is responsible for creating a high-quality dining experience in Eataly’s restaurants through timely and accurate delivery of meals as well as the organization and cleaning of tables. Reports to the Floor Managers and GM of Restaurants.

• Greets guests in assigned area; pours beverage as requested; serves bread and olive oil
• Runs food from kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course to be delivered is complete and accurate
• Runs beverage from bar to guest tables and makes sure water glasses remain filled
• Removes used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table
• Maintains cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables
• Assists servers when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $17.95 hourly, plus tips
