Job summary

Eataly Eaton Centre is seeking a Restaurant Table Support Team Member to ensure a high-quality dining experience through timely meal delivery and meticulous table care. Reports to Restaurant Floor Managers and AGM.

Role requires a positive, fast-paced service mindset, 1+ year in a busy restaurant, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays onsite. High school diploma preferred and Smart Serve certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Smart Serve
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and move for up to 8 hours

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in assigned area and pour beverages as requested
• Deliver meals from kitchen to guest tables ensuring accuracy
• Transport beverages from bar to tables and keep water refilled
• Clear used dishes and utensils between courses and after guests depart
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and chairs and reset vacated tables
• Assist servers and understand menu item descriptions and ingredients
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

A Table Support Team Member is responsible for creating a high-quality dining experience in Eataly's restaurants through timely and accurate delivery of meals as well as the organization and cleaning of tables. Reports to the Restaurant Floor Managers and AGM.

• Greets guests in assigned area; pours beverage as requested; serves bread and olive oil
• Runs food from kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course to be delivered is complete and accurate
• Runs beverage from bar to guest tables and makes sure water glasses remain filled
• Removes used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table
• Maintains cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables
• Assists servers when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Requirements

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $17.95 hourly, plus tips
