Job summary

Eataly Sherway Gardens is seeking a Seasonal Table Support Team Member for its restaurant. This part-time role focuses on ensuring a high-quality dining experience through accurate service, timely delivery of meals, table organization and cleanliness.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, delivering courses from kitchen, pouring beverages, clearing tables, and maintaining overall service area. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in assigned area; pour beverages and serve bread with olive oil.
• Deliver meals from kitchen to tables ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Transport beverages from bar to tables and top up water glasses.
• Clear dishes and silverware between courses and after guests leave.
• Maintain cleanliness and reset vacated tables; assist servers as needed.

This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of 1/03/2027.

A Table Support Team Member is responsible for creating a high-quality dining experience in Eataly’s restaurants through timely and accurate delivery of meals as well as the organization and cleaning of tables. Reports to the Floor Managers and GM of Restaurants.

• Greets guests in assigned area; pours beverage as requested; serves bread and olive oil
• Runs food from kitchen to guest tables after ensuring each course to be delivered is complete and accurate
• Runs beverage from bar to guest tables and makes sure water glasses remain filled
• Removes used dishes and silverware from guest tables between courses and after guests leave the table
• Maintains cleanliness of all tables and chairs in assigned service area and resets vacated tables
• Assists servers when needed and understands food descriptions and ingredients of menu items
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Job Requirements

• Must hold a valid Smart Serve
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $17.95 hourly, plus tips
