Job summary

Eataly in Toronto, Canada is seeking a seasonal Server to coordinate service and ensure an exceptional dining experience. The role reports to the Restaurant Managers and requires on-site work with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, presenting menus, handling orders via POS, coordinating with kitchen staff and bartenders, and supporting the team with wine service and station maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.

• Assists table support team with stocking work stations, removing and resetting used dishes/silverware.
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned

Job Description

This is a seasonal position with an expected end date of 1/03/2027.

A Server coordinates the entire service station and communicates with front of the house and back of the house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Reports to the Restaurant Managers.

Job Requirements

• Must hold a valid Smart Serve
• Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

Compensation

• Compensation for this role is CAD $17.95 hourly, plus tips
