Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team. The role involves safely delivering propane to residential and commercial customers, with a fixed seasonal end date and eligibility for overtime.

This on-site position requires a valid Class 3 DZ license, prior driving experience, and the ability to perform physical loading/unloading tasks in all weather conditions. Benefits are included under a full seasonal contract.

Qualifications

• Valid Class3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license.
• Minimum 3years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor.

Job Summary:

As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

This is a fixed contract/Seasonal role with an expected end date in the Spring of 2027. The position includes full benefits and is eligible for over-time.
