Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. is seeking a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team and deliver propane to residential and commercial customers in Ontario.

You will work with a safety-focused approach and adhere to regulations while maintaining efficient routes and on-time deliveries. Ideal candidates have a Valid Class 3 DZ license, minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience, a clean CVOR/personal record, and the ability to perform physical loading/unloading duties in various

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane from truck per regulations.

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and paperwork.
• Report hazards to dispatch and ensure policy compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and adapt to varying schedules.

Job Summary

As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a Seasonal role, with an immediate start date and a target end date of late march.
