Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. seeks a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team. You will deliver propane safely to residential and commercial customers, following all regulatory requirements, and support route planning to meet customer needs.

The role emphasizes safety, punctuality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment, with a start date soon and flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience is required.
• Clean CVOR/personal driving record within company standards.
• Experience delivering propane is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane safely following regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch using geography and customer needs.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and paperwork.

Job Summary:

As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

This is a Seasonal role, with an immediate start date and a target end date of late march.
