Job summary

Avenir Energy Ltd. seeks a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to join our Dispatch team and deliver products safely to residential and commercial customers. This fixed contract role runs through Spring 2027 with full benefits and overtime eligibility.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading propane, route planning with dispatch, and completing required inspections and paperwork while adhering to company and government regulations. Evening/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 DZ license required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record.
• Experience delivering propane is required.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading/unloading propane.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload propane, following regulations.
• Develop routes with dispatch based on geography and customer needs.
• Deliver propane to residential and commercial customers safely and efficiently.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required paperwork.
• Report hazards to dispatch and comply with policies.

Job Summary: As a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver, you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.

This is a fixed contract/Seasonal role with an expected end date in the Spring of 2027. The position includes full benefits and is eligible for over-time.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers
• Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required
• Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations
• Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
• Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
• Other duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 3 DZ Commercial Driver’s license
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience
• Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
• Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane
• Experience delivering propane is required

Knowledge & Skills:

• Knowledge of propane considered an asset
• Ability to work various shifts
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
