Cambrian College's Liquor Mart location is seeking a Courtesy Clerk Seasonal to deliver friendly, front-line service to customers. You will handle sales transactions, assist shoppers, stock shelves, and help maintain a clean, secure store environment.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, using POS and inventory systems, processing payments, unloading pallets, stocking displays, and enforcing age-restriction and safety policies.

Qualifikationen

• Grade 12 completed preferred.
• Basic knowledge of cash handling and computer skills.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.

Aufgaben

• Acknowledge and greet customers.
• Approach and assist customers, according to established criteria.
• Use POS and inventory systems to complete sales transactions and returns.
• Process customer payments using debit, credit, gift cards, and cash.
• Ensure accurate and secure handling of cash and slips.
• Package orders using appropriate resources.
• Provide carry-out service when appropriate.
• Provide Controlled Entry door coverage as required.
• Answer phone using established protocols.
• Unload pallets and move products to shelves or warehouse spots.
• Stock shelves, beer racks, cold boxes and displays with rotation.
• Refuse service to minors and intoxicated persons per policy.
• Handle MBLL assets according to policy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and store.
• Return carts, baskets, and equipment to proper spots.
• Remove excess cardboard and garbage.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
