Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Christmas Kettle Campaign Coordinator for a short-term contract. The role will oversee multiple kettle locations in a designated BC zone, coordinating staff and volunteers, ensuring timely shifts, and protecting donations.

The successful candidate will train personnel, manage timesheets, and liaise with site supervisors. Local travel and flexible scheduling are required; previous cash handling and office experience are assets.

Qualifications

• Some high school coursework; completion of high school is an asset.
• Minimum of one year of customer service experience.
• Money handling experience is an asset.
• Experience with general office equipment; strong skills in WORD and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Christmas Kettle locations and staff/volunteers within a zone.
• Coordinate scheduling and recruitment of kettle workers.
• Ensure security of donations and accurate time sheets.
• Provide training/orientation for volunteers and monitor performance.
• Maintain positive relationships with kettle sites and communicate needs to supervision.
