The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory in Vancouver is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II for a short-term contract during the Christmas season. You will oversee multiple kettle locations, recruit and supervise volunteers, and manage logistics, scheduling, and donations to help build strong communities.

This role requires strong communication, organization, and fundraising experience, with a focus on safe, compliant operations and collaboration with staff and partner sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and relevant certificate program.
• First Aid Level 1 and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training.
• Class 5 Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Minimum of two years related experience.
• Fundraising and supervisory experience is an asset.
• Experience using Salesforce is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to the Christmas Kettle Campaign across multiple locations.
• Assist in recruitment and selection of kettle team members.
• Orient and supervise kettle team members (employees and volunteers).
• Plan and lead kettle orientation and training sessions.
• Grow the volunteer base and deploy volunteers effectively.
• Communicate regularly by phone with stakeholders.
• Coordinate kettle schedules and respond to emergencies.
• Ensure supplies are ordered and stocked daily or as needed.
• Obtain insurance certificates for kettle locations and share with contacts.
• Maintain relationships with host locations and acknowledge supporters.
• Manage Tip Tap machines for the campaign duration.
• Coordinate delivery, setup, and takedown of kettle equipment.
• Handle daily kettle drop-offs and pickups.
• Record income data and payroll timesheets.
