Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II for a short-term contract to oversee the Christmas Kettle Campaign across multiple locations in a designated zone. The role manages staff and volunteers, coordinates campaigns, and ensures timely supplies and reporting.

Responsibilities include recruiting and supervising volunteers, training kettle teams, and maintaining strong communications with partner sites. This role requires a valid Class 5 license and prior fundraising experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma plus a formal certificate program or specialized courses is required.
• First Aid Level 1 and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training are assets.
• Class 5 Driver’s License with clear driving record is required.
• A minimum of two years of related experience is required.
• Previous fundraising and supervisory experience is an asset.
• Experience using Salesforce for managing volunteers is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Christmas Kettle Campaign across multiple locations in a geographic zone.
• Assist in recruitment and selection of kettle team members.
• Provide orientation and ongoing supervision of kettle volunteers and staff.
• Grow the volunteer base and deploy volunteers effectively.
• Coordinate schedules for kettle hosts and respond to emergencies.
