Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is hiring for a Part-Time Seasonal Hunting Associate at our Dartmouth, NS location. Join a team focused on legendary customer service and deep product knowledge for outdoor enthusiasts.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you will assist customers, promote promotions, and help maintain visuals and cleanliness on the floor. Interviews will be conducted on-site during the national hiring event, with opportunities for holiday earnings and Bass Pro/Cabela’s discounts.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is preferred.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle.
