Job summary

Bass Pro Shops Dartmouth is seeking a Seasonal Events Associate to support store events across the holiday season. You will greet customers, drive a fun, festive atmosphere, and help run Santa's Wonderland activities and photos with Santa.

Responsibilities include assisting with events, using POS and inventory systems for transactions, processing payments, resolving guest questions, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle is a plus.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

• Provide a legendary experience for every customer and promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s programs.
• Perform duties associated with store events.
• Use point-of-sale and inventory computer systems to accurately and quickly complete customer transactions following all policies, including those requiring identification and age checks.
• Process customer payment using debit, credit card, gift cards, and cash.
• Respond and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Summary:

Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, the Seasonal Events Associate performs duties associated with store events, participates in “short term” assignments and seasonal events to support the store as needed throughout the year.

Every holiday season, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s transform our stores into a festive wonderland with fun and games. Our Seasonal Events Associates act as “Santa’s Elves” executing the Santa’s Wonderland event, providing families with a free studio-quality photo with Santa, and facilitating various family games activities to help create unforgettable memories for our customers.
