Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Halifax, NS is hiring a part-time Seasonal Hunting Associate to help customers with product selections and outdoor gear knowledge. You will contribute to a world-class shopping experience with friendly service and strong product knowledge.

Reporting to the Retail Manager, you’ll support promotions, maintain neat displays, and assist in other store tasks as needed. Previous retail or outdoor-lifestyle experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers’ needs and make recommendations based on needs.
• Ability to provide superior customer service and exceed customer’s expectations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in buying decisions by identifying and evaluating needs and making recommendations.
• Promote various company programs and promotions.
• Maintain visual standards including signage, restocking, and remerchandising.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues using good judgment.
