Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Calgary is seeking a Seasonal Events Associate to support festive in-store experiences and family activities during peak seasons.

You will greet customers, run Santa’s Wonderland activities, and help with event setup while using POS and inventory systems to process transactions and ensure policy adherence. Prior sales or service experience and an interest in outdoor lifestyle are valued.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver superior customer service.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

• Respond and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Summary:

Reporting to the Retail Manager - Fishing Marine, the Seasonal Events Associate performs duties associated with store events, participates in “short term” assignments and seasonal events to support the store as needed throughout the year.

Every holiday season, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s transform our stores into a festive wonderland with fun and games. Our Seasonal Events Associates act as “Santa’s Elves” executing the Santa’s Wonderland event, providing families with a free studio-quality photo with Santa, and facilitating various family games activities to help create unforgettable memories for our customers.
