Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Edmonton is seeking Seasonal Events Associates to support Santa's Wonderland and other holiday store activities. You will greet customers, help run family games, and coordinate festive events while delivering a legendary guest experience.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will use the POS, assist in other areas as needed, and enjoy the Outfitter Discount. Experience in sales or service is preferred and a high school diploma is recommended.

Qualifications

• One or more years’ experience in a sales or service environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to provide superior customer service.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s products is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Provide a legendary customer experience.
• Assist in store events.
• Use POS and inventory computer systems to complete customer transactions following policies (ID and age checks).
• Process customer payments by debit, credit card, gift cards, and cash.
• Resolve customer issues using good judgment and logic.
• Keep the work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of the store as needed.

Place: Bass Pro Shops/ Cabela’s Windermere Location- 6150 Currents Drive NW, Edmonton Alberta.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Seasonal Events Associate performs duties associated with store events, participates in “short term” assignments and seasonal events to support the store as needed throughout the year.

Every holiday season, Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s transform our stores into a festive wonderland with fun and games. Our Seasonal Events Associates act as “Santa’s Elves” executing the Santa’s Wonderland event, providing families with a free studio-quality photo with Santa, and facilitating various family games activities to help create unforgettable memories for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer and promote Bass Pro Shops & Cabela’s programs.
• Perform duties associated with store events.
• Use point-of-sale and inventory computer systems to accurately and quickly complete customer transactions following all policies, including those requiring identification and age checks.
• Process customer payment using debit, credit card, gift cards, and cash.
• Respond and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate.

Qualifications:
