Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Christmas Support Worker to assist Rainbow Country Church and Community Services during the Christmas season. This is a temporary role focusing on toys, food hampers, and related campaigns.

You will support donation pickups, set up and teardown, guest assistance, and data recording, with occasional kettle campaign involvement and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily activities of Community Services during the Christmas Season.
• Assist with the pickup of donations from community donors using a program vehicle.
• Assist with the physical set up and take down of the Christmas assistance program space(s).
• Provide front line support to guests applying for and receiving Christmas assistance.
• Assist with sorting donations and recording data.
• Answer phone inquiries as required.
• Work closely with the Community Services Program Coordinator regarding the various Christmas initiatives.
• May assist in the Christmas Kettle Campaign where needed.
