Job summary

The Salvation Army in Canada is seeking a Christmas Support Worker for temporary full-time hours in Community and Family Services. The role focuses on processing donations, setting up distribution sites, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Completed High School or equivalent.
• Minimum one year in community-based programs is an asset.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office; email and internet proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process, unload, document, and sort donations for the Christmas program.
• Assist with pickups of food and toy donations using the program vehicle.
• Help set up and take down the toy/food distribution centre.
• Sort toy donations and record data clearly and accurately.
• Support the Kettle campaign as needed and perform related duties.
