Job summary

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Notch8 is seeking a Seasonal Bartender to join during the festive season from November 2026 through January 7, 2027. You will deliver warm, engaging service and craft cocktails in a luxury, high-volume bar setting.

The role requires knowledge of spirits and wine, excellent guest service, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. A one-year bartending background and Serving It Right are preferred. Vancouver dining excellence awaits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of bartending experience in a high-volume, upscale environment.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktails; ability to craft drinks per recipes.
• Valid Serving It Right certification; excellent guest service mindset.
• Professional communication and guest-focused service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, engaging, and professional service to every guest.
• Prepare cocktails and drinks according to recipes and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage offerings and make informed recommendations.
• Communicate allergies and dietary needs clearly to the team.
• Keep bar organized, stocked and clean; monitor stock and waste.
• Process guest checks and payments accurately and promptly.
• Support team during peak periods and assist with service tasks.
