Job summary

Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, BC, is seeking a Bartender for the Mallard Lounge. This full-time, seasonal position runs November 2026 through April 2027, with starting pay of CAD 19.35 per hour. Pay increases after six months and again at three years, reaching CAD 25.75.

You will deliver beverage expertise and guest-centered service, while maintaining knowledge of menus and promotions. Benefits include staff accommodation and meal provisions.

• Previous POS experience preferred
• Serving It Right BC Certificate

Bartender

As a Bartender in our Mallard Lounge restaurant, you will be an ambassador for the exceptional service and flavors that are hallmarks of our restaurant experience. Your warm, attentive guest service, and passion for mixology is worth raising a glass to!

This is a full-time, seasonal position starting in November 2026 and ending in April 2027.

Starting Rate of Pay: $19.35 per hour

We recognize tenure through our compensation - hourly rates increase after 6 months and then yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $25.75.

Job Duties Include

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
• Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way
• Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience
